Who We Are

OKAYO ELECTRONICS CO., LTD., a Taiwan-based manufacturer, was established in 1996 by a group of engineers who possessed extreme passion for wireless communication.

We attempt to build reliable, durable and affordable products that help people live in a comfortable way based on different wireless technologies and solutions – Infrared, VHF, UHF, 2.4 GHz, Digital UHF and more. We also recognize that people around the world won’t have the same tastes so we work closely with global customers to build localized products that are dedicated for, of the country.

With continuous efforts on marketing exploration, technology research, and quality improvement, Okayo makes itself a leading provider for Wireless Tour Guide Systems, Audio Guide Systems, Wireless Portable Sound System and Wireless Microphone Systems.

Milestone

1996	E-J was founded at Ta-Li city, Taichung, Taiwan, by a group of enthusiastic engineers from the wireless microphone industry
1997	E-J resides in the current address, covering 1,200 squares
2004	Company space enlarged, covering 1,600 squares
2004	Worked with Motorola U.S.A. for the police in-car microphone system, obtaining the UL certification
2005	Obtained the " TUV Rheinland Quality Management " certification
2006	Obtained the "Supplier Quality Award" for the world leading audio company
2006	Taiwan Excellence Award for Tour Guide System
2007	Annual "Supplier Quality Award" again
2009	Certification of “ISO 9001:2008”
2009	In process of EuP supplier control ( Directive on the Eco-design Requirement for Energy Using Products )
2009	Green materials, green supply and green partner! Implement HSPM ( Hazardous Substance Process Management ) based on IECQ QC080000, including the concept of RoHS, WEEE and REACH
2010	IECQ QC080000 HSPM certificated
2013	Renamed as OKAYO ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. for better brand identification.
2013	Moved to new factory building due to business expansion
